Car asses since I’m a dumbass
So I spilled some hot water (coming out of my radiator, car said coolant temp was 200F) on my hand. It contacted my hand for a split second and then I dryed it out and sprayed cold water on me really quickly. It was distilled water since I was flushing the system.
Its tingly now but thats it, I still have sensation and there is slight redness after about an hour . How worried should I be?

It’s a scald, you’ll live. Put some burn cream on it

You’ll be alright, doesn’t sound like you burned to the degree
it
blistered.

Not worried. If it blisters make sure you keep it clean.

You should cut it to be safe, could be spreading !

Sounds like you are ok. You can see a doctor if you develop blisters or show signs of infection , but probably it’ll be fine.

Put a balm on it

Sounds fine. Sunburn products will feel good.

You’ll be fine.
Funny story. Electric fan on the e38 died once while stuck in bumper to bumper traffic o n a bridge. By the time I exit and pull into a parking lot it was uber hot. Sent my buddy into the store for a few jugs of water. Put a rag over the rad cap and used a pair of channel locks to back it off a bit l ike I’ve done 100x in the past with various misbehaving cars. It bleeds pressure then stops and I’m like cool, back it off a little more and the cap blows off of the rad, smokes me in the face, and my face got pressure washed with hot coolant. Really hot coolant.
Thought the cap had broken my nose, but not quite. Thought the coolant had melted m y eyeballs, but turned out I could still see. Forehead looked like I had gone suntanning and stung like a sob though.
It had so much pressure in the system that even with the cap almost all the way unscrewed the upward pressure was keeping it sealed via the threads.
Lessons learned. Don't buy a bmw. Haha.

Throw some aloe on it. From the plant is best, tube second. Nothing is better for burns.

I once rested my hand on a hot pizza oven, thinking the exterior was fully insulated from the insides. I was wrong. My hand blistered something fierce even after dunking it in ice water and applying burn gel, but eventually recovered and leaving no traces of the burn. 200°F water won't cause nearly as much.

Reminds me of the time I touched the muffler on my grandfather’s lawn tractor. Holy shit that was hot. Got a right proper blister too. And I still have that hand.

My most painful burn was when I was a donut fryer, splashed some 375* oil on my wrist. Treated it with some spray and cotton wrap. In two days I was fine.

Add butter salt and pepper to taste and enjoy.

Don't be worried if it doesn't have blisters.

Just scalded, it’ll be tender and may peel a bit but won’t leave any lasting damage. Treat it like a bad sunburn, put lotion on it, and it’ll heal up fine in a week or so. Source: clumsy guy who cooks a lot, used to work in commercial kitchens, and manages to burn myself all the damn time.

Maybe o ne day. I still have mine but it has nearly a million km on it and is not worth investing any more time or money into. Loved driving it but it was deteriorating faster than I could keep up. Us ing it as a daily driver construction vehicle wasn’t doing it any favors either. Looked damn baller rolling up to the job site though.
It still runs and I have a 3kw inverter in the trunk so it's basically a storage locker/portable generator during power outages at this point.
